Every now and then, I donate a raffle prize to our local school to help raise funds during their events. (Hats off to those of you on any PTFA committee, it is inspiring how hard you work).
One exciting part of doing it this way is you never know who is going to win. Quite often, when you donate to somewhere local, it will be someone you know, which is exactly what happen in this case.
Meet Shelley, Darren and their three blooming gorgeous kids. I have photographed Dotty and Arthur a couple of times previously. Arthur took a little coaching to come out of his shell, in fact one of my favourite images is with him peering out from behind his Dad’s legs.
I love it when I get to meet the extended family too. Family is so important and it is important to cherish this relationships when we get the opportunity.
It goes to show that you don’t need the summer to make gorgeous photos. This session was in December, coats never far away as it was pretty chilly! But look at that sunlight coming through the trees, I love it.
The air is getting chilly and the evenings are drawing in, yet we can still keep doing location sessions for a lot longer. Contact me to find out more.
